BY ERROL (HEAD OF MARKETING)

🐾 REPORTING FROM THE COLD FRONT: Last Sunday, the corporate caravan retraced its steps and we found ourselves back at Greenacres.

It was a much cooler day this time around, and the ever-present Greenacres wind definitely made its freezing presence felt right through my fur. On the tactical side of things, we slotted perfectly into our customary spot on the grid. We were safely positioned between Sir Jed of Honey—surely the best beekeeper in the whole wide wurld—and my old guv’nor, Gweithdy Al: splinter wrangler extraordinaire!

The Birthday Forage

While the hoomans set about the grueling manual labor of assembling the store and wrestling the canvas in the gale, I decided my talents were best spent elsewhere. I went off on a high-level foraging mission around the site.

During my patrol, I bumped into Pete. Now, word on the corporate grapevine was that he recently had a birfdae!!! Being a polite and highly sophisticated marketing executive, I stopped and wished him all the very best. He seemed very happy with this official greeting. And so he should! It’s not every day you get birthday wishes from a veteran operative.

Trading Paper Squares for Sparkly Jools

Once I returned to base, the gates opened and trade was actually pretty brisk, which is a very good thing for the company turnover. There were plenty of lovely people to meet and greet. My main job for the afternoon was to magnetically charm them and persuade them to swap some of their crinkly paper squares for Mary’s sparkly jools, or perchance a magnificent CUTIE robot.

If their paper-square budget didn’t stretch to a full robot, I successfully nudged them toward an absolute minimum of a nice blingy brooch, or—my personal favorite product line—a massively cool pair of steampunk/John Lennon/Ozzy/Drooper glasses.

You know the ones I mean. Drooper from off of the Banananananananananana…

(Editor’s note: Like many people, Errol can start spelling Banana perfectly ok… it’s the stopping spelling it that he has major problems with…)

…nananana Splits! 🍌👓

Despite the chilly wind trying to blow our brochures into the next county, it was a highly successful deployment. The stock levels took a nice hit, the peoples were exceptionally friendly, and I didn’t see a single rogue water sprayer all day. A massive corporate win in my book.

Time to rest my paws before the final blog report of the day!
