TIGER TERRORISM:

THE TIGER STRIKES

In terrifying social news, I had a close encounter today with the resident menace, Alice. Readers, let me be clear: she is not a cat. She is a F-ING TIGER!1!

Alice serves as the self-appointed Grand Matriarch of the house, and I am currently very legally forbidden from even looking in her direction. Earlier today, she gave me an icy, sharp-pointed ear stare from the hallway. The sheer intensity of her gaze was enough to make my tail tuck involuntarily. I had no choice but to initiate a full-scale tactical retreat, reverse-walking backward for ten full meters just to prevent an international conflict. It was touch-and-go, but I managed to escape with my dignity—mostly—intact.

Saved!

Thank goodness for my bruvah, Loki. He is a slinky black shadow-cat and my true brother-in-arms in this ongoing struggle for domestic dominance. We are tight, and we understand the burden of living under the reign of the feline hierarchy. Whenever Alice begins her patrol, Loki and I share a knowing glance; we are the united front of the yoofs. He understands the struggle of the dog in a world clearly tilted in favor of the tiger.

Life at Jon and Mary’s is not just about craft fairs and marketing brilliance; it is a precarious political landscape. One wrong move—a misplaced paw or an accidental look—could upset the fragile peace we maintain. I have to balance my professional duties as Head of Marketing with the constant need for personal safety. My PR responsibilities are already heavy enough without having to navigate a hallway guarded by a miniature predator.

Thankfully, I am a professional. I maintain my composure, keep my nose wet, and stay ever-vigilant against the threat posed by the Matriarch. Loki remains my steadfast ally, and together, we endure. The things I do for this business, and the hazards I face, are truly monumental.

Kthxbai,

Errol
